The FI-CON TYPE-X from SP Takegawa is an injection control box that plugs into coupler directly to the original ECU of the Honda Monkey 125, without any modification to the harness. Designed for both the beginner and the experienced preparer, it allows you to select, modify and refine preset maps from a PC or smartphone, to fully exploit an engine equipped with SP Takegawa parts.

Compatibility

Honda Monkey 125 — types JB03 and JB05 (from serial number 1000001).

⚠️ Not compatible with the Monkey 125 JB02 (1st generation, 4-speed gearbox) nor with the Thai model Monkey 125 (MLHJB03). Designed for Monkey 125 Europe only — does not fit Dax 125, Grom/MSX125 or Super Cub, which have different ECUs.

Good to know
This box is a mapping tool intended for engines equipped with SP Takegawa parts (big bore kit, camshaft, large injectors, etc.). Installed alone on a strictly original motorcycle, it does not provide any performance gain. Do not combine it with engine parts from other brands, nor with additional HID/LED kits (electrical noise may disturb the box). A paid application is required on the smartphone side; on PC, SP Takegawa software is free (Bluetooth required). On the regulatory side: modifying the injection map affects the anti-pollution compliance of the vehicle — use reserved for prepared machines / track, under the responsibility of the user.
