Preparation HONDA Monkey 125 JB-03 / JB-05

Owner of this fantastic motorcycle, you are constantly confronted with the frustration of "felt", this motorcycle is light, economical, fun and easy to handle...

Except that, big downside: it's very soft, boring and it becomes frustrating to have a toy that promises fun but ends up being restricted and underused.  

Here are the formulas to optimize the pleasure of taking behind the handlebars: 

- Stage 1: 

High 145 light engine with camshaft, high flow oil pump, reinforced pressure plate, harder clutch spring and custom mapping, made on a power bench with a flash of the original ECU, go from 6.5 to around 11.5/12 hp at the rear wheel, you can keep your original air box or use a horn for freer intake. 


- Stage 1+:

On adds reliability and high speed with a racing clutch housing which also contains an additional crankshaft bearing + an additional bearing kit on the opposite side in the ignition housing to have a total of 4 crankshaft bearings instead of the 2 present originally, the goal is to be able to obtain more engine speed, more balancing and therefore more reliability. 

- Stage 2:

High complete 145 engine with a new 4-valve TAKEGAWA cylinder head, racing camshaft, large volume injection body, increased injector, reinforced timing chain, reinforced timing tensioner, iridium spark plug, high flow oil pump, reinforced clutch kit with an additional disc, reinforced pressure plate, harder clutch spring, racing clutch cover, addition of an additional bearing in the ignition housing and mapping in the original ECU, on measurement, on a power bench.
With stage 2, we will be around 18.5/19hp at the wheel and maximum speeds of up to 11,500 rpm (compared to the original 8,300 rpm).
